Is this a good $750 build? (+ questions)

KawaiiNacho

Really? Litteraly copied the OP.

Upgrading. Meaning I am going to get the R9 380 now and upgrade it to dual R9 290X's. Meaning I have to upgrade my PSU later too. Wich is why I am going to get a cheap 600W PSU.

Like i said, let go the fans for now and go with a 2x4GB kit and afford a proper PSU...a good 550W gold unit from seasonic, XFX or some evga will do the trick even for a 390X...get a 600 or 650w with the money you'll have plenty...check reviews...a PSU is NOT the place to save money on.

Add more memory and extra fans later if needed along with a more powerful GPU.

Look the machine in my sig is running all overclocked on a 550W PSU...you just need A GOOD ONE and they are not that much more expensive.

Aight. What about Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply?

it's a bit better but not much i wouldnt run an R9 390 or 390X or 290/290X or any other higher end GPU on it, but this one would and it's not much more expensive:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-rm650

it's gold rated and fully modular and has a good quality fan on it...you can power ANY single GPU you can think of on that thing including even an overclocked GTX 980ti or Fury X

80$ free shipping on amazon or 60$ with MIR on newegg.

Using all my common sense I have left (I dont have much) and a psu calculator The max I would need is 450 Watts. I think a 600 Watt 80+ bronze will be more than enough. And I dont really need a fully modular psu. Semi-Modular is fine as long as it has 1 6+2 connecter (but it has 2 but w/e. I'll hide them behind the case)

I mean, I have another desktop for "work stuff" wich has a psu of like 200 watt.

Well ofcourse work stuff !== gaming

it's NOT about the wattage...wattage is JUST a NUMBER...it's about QUALITY.

Both are important. Quality > Wattage though. But both do matter.

You dont need another cooler for that cpu. The stock cooler will do fine

I am not changing the motherboard since I already am going to buy a decent-ish one with 2 16xPCI slots to get dual GPU's.

I need 16Gb ram for video editing

240 Gb of storage space. What even? My porn folder is larger (not really)

I cant even.

I dont really care how loud the pc is tbh.

I dont get why people care too? Is that big of a deal?

You're gaming and doing work anyway with audio 'n stuff. You probably dont even hear it unless its like 60 decibells wich I doubt will happen.
