Core clock is king and to simplify the process I assume.

because one day, many years ago, he overclocked his vram and it cut him. 

He's been too scarred by the memory to carry on overclocking it. 

like your tag line its exactly why i am folding now  :lol:

 

why does luke not overclock the memory? i have mine set to +200  

more variables you add the less stable things become. also it was probably to standardize the process

i have a space heater in my dorm. but i happen to be in my parents house for holidays forgot to bring it and they keep the temp at 65 in the winter

ya my dad keeps his garage at a warmer temp (hes a car collector) than in the house pretty nuts
