HTPC/gaming build

Arngrimm

Hi im looking to build a new HTPC to have set up in my living room. I do plan on doing some gaming on it so it does need some power, not much. i just built a new x99 $3000+ comp last month so thats my main gaming rig but this will be the second comp to use for me and my wife to play some games together. price range  is $500 to round $800. i have no idea on hardware around this price point so any help is greatly appreciated

for a good htpc

intel i3

4-8gb of ram..ddr3..1600

120gb ssd (for faster boots)

2tb wd hard drive..to store media

hxx motherboard..either h97 or h170 depends what i3 you go with

500w good quiet psu

case that looks good for a htpc and is quiet (I like the silverstone htpc cases)

low profile quiet heatsink
