The EVGA 980 Classified or the 980 KINGPIN is the best card you can get from EVGA

However I would suggest a Sapphire R9 Fury for about $510

The best is the K|ngp|n but it's too expensive really, it's XOC card- on air it might be no better than the rest. The best 'value' is probably something like the ACX 2.0.

Sapphire R9 Fury ~$510

That does't appear to be from EVGA, or a 980 :P

At least answer the OPs question then suggest the Fury as an alternative.

exactly, Its the users choice, they want a 980 so give them the best 980 from EVGA

Like you can state the fact that a fury is better but don't be like

"The Sapphire R9 Fury is the best 980"

Like please answer the question, if your not going to be useful leave.

Sapphire R9 Fury ~$510

I don´t get it why recommending an AMD when the OP specifically asks for a nVidia card? How would you feel about that? Are you that biased that you can´t even answer such a simple question? Poor...

@ OP I´d go max with a GTX980 Classified, though usually I´d rather say go with a FTW or ACX 2.0 SC. They have EVGA´s best ptp ratio usually.

Is it different when someone asks what's the best 960 and every one puts in the 380/x? The R9 Fury is better and he had a valid reason to suggest it.

but the OP specifically asked for a 980.

But what if someone SPECIFICALLY asks what FX is the best? Or what 960, or what corsair PSU?

And someone who is more open minded will recommend both the best FX, 960 or Corsair PSU, whilst offering alternative solutions, such as Intel's i5s, the 380 or 380X, and EVGA/Seasonic PSUs.

AMD 9590, however I wouldn't recommend it because you can get an i5 for the same amount

and best Corsair PSU RM100X Read the review if you like and again 960, give them the best 960 since I cant name it off the top of my head.

Give the person what they want just include something that says

"However, I would recommend going with **** instead because it is better for *insert reason here*

don't be that guy who goes the best FX series CPU is the Intel 4690k, Its a really douchy thing to do.
