Has anyone Vinyl wrapped their pc case? I'm looking into it as an alternative to using actual paint, since for medical reasons I shouldn't be around paint and chemicals(cuz fumes...). Does it look/feel good? Or does it just look like you stuck a huge sheet of colored ducktape to the outside of your case? Is it going to bother someone with mild OCD?

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

looks alright IMO

its kinda hard to stick on if your case has a lot of non-right angles or cutouts

pro-vinyl wrappers can actually make it look perfect just like paint

It can look really good if it's done well

Does it peel at the corners over time like normal tape does?

It's basically like a huge sticker or sheet and I would say it looks pretty sweet if done well, as for corners they don't peel if you do it correctly, by heating and stretching the vinyl over the corners and after making some relief cuts on the back.

Under Vinyl Wrap and Decals here it goes into detail on that especially in the video:

I used 3M di-noc carbon-fiber wrap in my build (bottom two posts) & it came out fantastic. I'm really happy with the results & it was actually really easy to work with once you know how much heat to use. It looks good & if feels really good, not at all like a sticker. The CF one has some texture to it & it feels premium. You'll want to heat & stretch corners a little tighter than on the larger surfaces. I have several pieces wrapping around tight edges (like the side panel) & they're not going anywhere. I'd say go for it, but if you do, get the good stuff.
