AMD HD7950 Gigabyte or ASUS

Go to solution Solved by xAcid9,

ill just go with the Gigabyte 7950 becuase I was looking for a card around $250 and later i will just Crossfire them

Why not Sapphire? Dual-X is $10 cheaper and Vapor-X is $10 more expensive. Unlike Gigabyte, both is not voltage locked.

I was wondering would it be better to get an ASUS HD7950 becuase I have an asus CrossHair motherboard since I know they have their special power convert thing with asus parts but the Gigabyte is faster and cheaper. Also I am running a dual monitor set up. I REALLY dont want to have to buy adapters for the mini display ports for my DVI but the card is cheaper and a little faster.

Gigabyte HD7950http://goo.gl/VZBYxO

384-bits

900MHz

1 DVI

1 HDMI

2 Mini dsplayports

about $230

My computer is a turd but it gets work done!

Get the gigabyte one, you can get a 7970 for the price of the asus.

To clarify: if you want a 7950, get the gigabyte one, if you're willing to pay 300$ then just get a 7970 (like the one I linked).
