Shove a fan grill in the front and paint it a different colour.

i modded my old antec to take a 240mm radiator and water cooled it. Did some colour coding with ram, coolant and fans

as already said; a paint job will go a long way. other than that doing a custom (modded?) watercooling loop always adds that special touch

Here's a fair number of mods, but the easiest would be vinyl decals LED lights, and sleeved cables:

i might look into painting one of the grills ether on the front or the top

If there is any flat surfaces on it, you could use a stencil and paint some pattern on it or something. Could be something simple like racing stripes, or it could be based on your interests(for example, darth vaders mask if your a star wars fan).
