I have a Kingston V300 SSD and from personal experience it's been perfect and I haven't noticed any performance degradation in the 8 months I've had it.

run crystaldiskmark

see how bad the speeds are compared to other SSDs

also you wont notice huge performance degradation until you run out of write cycles

Spend the extra 6 bucks... https://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp550ss3240gmc

120 GB ssd's are a huge waste of money. Much slower than 240/256 counterparts and much less cost efficient.

Owned and tested. $45 and a great buy, easy setup and comes with software from SanDisk to check SSD Health, space and more. For proof, check my current build below this comment.

Yes.... It is... generally write speeds are what suffers most due to parallelization of the nand controller.

Sorted price per GB.... https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/internal-hard-drive/#t=0&sort=a7&page=1&S=50000,256000

6 dollars over 60...

Difference today is 25 dollars because 120GB ssd prices have been falling really fast as more and more companies phase them out (new samsung/crucial/intel drives don't even come in that size anymore).

A few weeks ago it was 60/80 (120/240).

Saw your edit. Soz.

My sister has that and it is perfect for the price!

You are on a need to know basis, and you don't need to know.
