Hi guys

I am struggeling a little bit with the ssd choice. Should I go with 2 850 250gb pro (or evo) or 1 950pro 256gb.

Thx

A very similar question was posted a few minutes ago. Maybe that helps: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/505989-x99-deluxe-850-evo-250gb-vs-x99-a-950-pro-256gb/

What's your usage?

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

The 950 PRO is useless, in my opinion. I see really no benefit except in mass data transfers.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

as well as overheating during mass data transfers, which makes it suck for mass data transfers...

Mine doesn't overheat due to dissipation through my PSU shroud/MOBO mount.

Mainly as a boot drive and some importa t games or video files to edit otherwise I use a 4tb WD Black as mass storage:)

850 evo is enough for your usage.
