$500 for a sound card.....definitely not worth it.

Also, totally depends on what headphones/speakers you plan on using. There are definitely better options for less $$$

When in doubt, re-format.

hell no. $500 for a soundcard.

I'd rather get a cheaper ASUS sound card. Creative are trash imo due to past experiences.

You're better off with a DAC.

You're even better off with your on-board audio.

AMD VS Nvidia = A lost mail man that will do whatever it takes to give you your mail... despite being a few days late... and never realizing that the house that the mail is for was pretty much the first house he started from VS A well dressed, well groomed, well cleaned, and cologned-up donger that just wiggles itself and is the type of guy that makes after-parties a nightmare. Basically its: An idiot that tries VS a jerk that ruins every after-party. Pick your poison.

It's nzd but any one got any links... I have 0 Intel on this subject

Why do you need one? Motherboards already have onboard audio.

Creative makes great products.

Unfortunately the drivers are not very good. And when I say "not very good," I mean the worst possible garbage in the world. Creative's auto detect and install feature didn't find any compatible hardware in my machine the last time I used a sound card (a bit over ten years ago) *shakes head* Product support is also very limited. You will get lost in a naming scheme in less than two years because new lines and existing products do not have a naming convention.

You're going to be happy with the product, but you'll never be able to use it.

I don't understand how Creative Labs is still in business.

Converted to USD directly that's around $330, still $130 over the price it typically sells for in USD. While I am an advocate for having a sound card for internal ease, this is simply too much, and I say that as a ZxR owner.

Definitely would recommend looking at an external amp/dac solution for a cheaper price.

Really though, what reason do you have for searching for a sound card?
