Golden chips? O.o

I've been playing around with my 780's clock speed a little bit, and managed to get them up to 1123mhz boost clocks, without adding extra voltage, on air, been reading a few articles and people seem to be hovering at like 1050? Did I get a lucky pair of cards or is this average? When I finish watercooling maybe I can up the voltage and try for 1300 :o

I have 2 reference 780s. As far as I know you can only add an offset voltage of 37m. With that both cards run stable at 1200 MHz boost clock, dipping down to 1175 MHz in summer with my ambient beeing over 30°C.

My 780 is really bad, i think. with +38 i cant even stabilize a 1202mhz boost :(

Try Grid 2 and Metro Last Light :D after ocing.

is bf3 good enough? i dont have MLL or grid 2

managed to get them to ~1175/1182 but any more than that without voltage it crashed playing bf3, bottom gpu stays so cool.. but top one with the sound card under it gets toasty at around 75 c, so idk how much more room I can squeeze out of it if I add voltage

 

and ye I can only add 38 mv, I may keep goofing around with it and see how much I can get lol
