Looks pretty good except for the PSU, which is a bit underpowered. Maybe get something in the 550-600W range?

Because the XFX TS 550w is the only PSU that exists on the market, right?

Because it's the cheapest, quality unit in 90% of cases.

In 90% of cases? So you know every price of every single PSU in every single country right now and you also know in which country OP lives without even asking him? That's skill...

I'm not saying it's a bad PSU, but I critique Morgan's recommendation. It's very biased to only recommend one product.

Well, there's nothing wrong with recommending that unit overall tbh. But i see your reasoning, i hate the fanboyism for the 212 EVO cooler, which has been recommended left, right & center for so long on this forum for so long.

I prefer modular but it's good too @Morgan MLGman

Here's a reasoning. Logic is what I use in my life as a guide, you clearly don't.

He's got a budget build, obviously, it's better to spend as much as you can into the GPU+CPU and get as cheap/good PSU as you can.

I've put hundreds of builds on this forum for people from multiple countries and multiple sites and I'm yet to see XFX TS 550W to be too expensive to be not worth getting.

I've seen it not available, but not overpriced. All XFX PSUs are guaranteed quality cause it's Seasonic OEM.

I had a 7 hour discussion about the art of logic. You're using the kind of logic I dislike. But I'm not here to talk about that.

It doesn't matter what kind of build he has, about which component we talk or how many builds you've put together, but just to say "Use this" or "Use that" without an explenation or at least the consideration of a different product is a bad recommendation. You're writing it like the XFX PSU is the only good one on this market.

That's how I think. I'm not saying this to make me look better, but because I care for the people on this forum that need help. I'm here to help those people and if I see a bad recommendation I'll point it out. I do that also to make your recommendation better. It's just a critique that you can accept or not.

Yes, the same happens with a lot of different products like the 212 Evo you mentioned, but also in the form of hate. The Corsair CX PSUs are a good example or the GTX 960. Some people just hate them for whatever reason, even tho they can have their advantages.

While I do understand your point, I don't think it really matters to be frank. Here's why it's not good: Some people just come here knowing nothing to ask for help, they don't need an explanation cause sometimes they just wouldn't even understand it, some people just don't care, they want to know what's best, I recommended the XFX TS 550W cause it's cheap, quality and usually in stock in a majority of countries, one of the best units to put in a budget build like OP's, I already recommended a particular unit fit for his particular case to make things faster, as I just know this stuff.

I'm not getting paid for helping people out here, I just enjoy doing so, at first I recommended things your way, with an explanation of why etc., but it just takes significantly more time. That's just a way to make things faster and simpler.

As for the second part, people don't 'hate' the GTX 960, it's just not worth the money and not worth getting considering its place on the market, it's an extremely bad card as far as pricing goes. No reason to recommend it, honestly.

By the way, "You're using the kind of logic I dislike." doesn't disliking something contradicts with logic? I mean it's a subjective matter, as somebody else could just as well 'like' it, that makes it not objective, and that's what logic is based on, at least in my understanding  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'm messing with you, don't answer that, haha

You said it takes more time to explain why you recommend a specific product, but you take the time to explain it to me, while I never questioned your choice, but much more the way you recommended it to OP.

That is the kind of logic I dislike. Not liking something is entirely in the rules of logic, cause that is what we humans do. It is logical that humans think subjectively, because our opinions are based on our experience. To know that, lets me see the real logic as a art and not the logic I dislike. Answering that was logical to me, cause you seem like a person that is able to understand that.  ;)

In some scenarios it makes sense to prefer a GTX 960, but I will not get into an argument about the that for now.
