Do they work in safe mode?

Try using different USB ports to force the drivers to get reinstalled.

Have you tried using other USB ports or different mice/keyboards. It could be a driver problem.

i have tried all this

Safe mode?

If that doesn't work, try using a Linux Live CD and see if they work when booting from that.

Sorry for the late reply.

Since they work fine in Linux, we can rule out hardware issues.

Try booting into Windows in safe mode and running Driver Sweeper to remove your keyboard and mouse drivers. Then boot back into Windows normally and let the drivers install again.

I assume it works now?

I dream of 0s and 1s folding to my every command,

algorithms seeping from the back of my head when I need them.
