evga B stock (980 sc)

andy335e92

this isn't much of a review, but just wanted to throw up a couple of pics showing the condition of the gtx 980 sc (reference) card I ordered from evga B stock. Obviously a lot of what they sell there is used or factory refurbished as far as I know, so I was surprised to see how perfect this card was. Only imperfections you'll see is micro scratches on the glass , can't see them in person just on these dslr pics lol .. share thoughts!

Looks great, been considering buying somethings from EVGA's Bstock on a "Scrapyard" build I may be doing but not sure how much I want to trust it but this helps with that

The card itself looks fucking pristine

Yeah honestly it is, very happy with the purchase i've been running it through benchmarks seems to be matching up well.

honestly I usually am about these things, especially when it comes to pc hardware but I have experience with vega and I know for a fact that if you buy from evga b stock and aren't happy with it, you can return it for a full refund. They even have 24/7 tech support I once called at 3am local time lol. Also if you're gunna be doing a "scrapyard" build I'd be more shady about other parts but not b stock. Good luck!

Very nice card! Are you planning on staying with that sexy reference cooler(can be a bit noisy at times IMO) or maybe considering getting an EVGA hybrid cooler?

yeah the thing is the parts I'm really looking at are the B Stock PSUs vs New  as that's the main thing I'm hesitant about buying not new... as the PSU can take everything else with it...

Thing with B stock in my mind is that a lot of it may well be returned cards due to poor overclock results.

But if ur not looking to OC then yea, go for B stock, save some money.
