It certainly isn't the direction we should be moving in lol. I'm getting capped at the start of next year, I really hate that these idiot executives(or whatever they are) have such an impact on the market. Holding back progression for a few $$ should be illegal.

 

Its weird to think 3 years ago I had no caps and 7x the speed on the same infrastructure(the ISP changed twice though by being acquired, fuck you CenturyLink).

my speed has went up through comcast, but my upload speed has remain pathetic, but I agree in general it's moving in a bad direction. I'm probably gonna fold and get the 2Gb from comcast when I can afford it. 299 a month seems crazy, but not really since i don't want TV and it is my livelyhood. 

In the very least I'll pay the 30$ to remove the cap. I know i'm contributing to the problem but they are literally the only ISP I can get!

Data is not a limited resource as gasoline is, they can't apply that same logic to it.
