also, the prodigy makes me cringe. i wouldnt want to balance even a low end system on iffy soft platsic legs...

its not cheap though, getting a custom case made is anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand, on top of the price of the case

I used to make custom-to-order cases when I had access to my workshop and it ain't cheap. Not to mention the fact that it takes forever to get everything right.

Materials for an acrylic case run from anywhere between $100 to $800, the manufacturing process is slow and troublesome.

Aluminum or steel cases are cheaper in materials but need fairly expensive equipment if done properly. Manufacturing is somewhat more streamlined but it still has its problems.

 

If you're looking into custom cases, even modded ones, you're better off making it yourself
