Best display for $100?

Tmt97

My TV isn't compatible with my new graphics card for some reason. I need something made in the last decade to replace it with, in a budget of $100. Doesn't have to be the best thing in the world, it just needs to run. If possible, I'd prefer something that I can eventually buy more of, to make a multi-monitor setup.

Well, best I can get I guess. I am kinda a noob to monitors/TVs, but I figured I couldn't be too picky with a budget of $100. I do like big things, so yea... Did I mention, I am REALLY a noob when it comes to this topic lol.

Pretty low price point for a decent sized TV, i'd just stick to a monitor until you have 150-200 and pick up a 32 or 40 incher

Also, is there any way of knowing before I buy it, if the monitor is compatible with a radeon 7950?

If it has an HDMI port and so does your monitor. Will work

what outputs does your 7950 have? I'd assume hdmi and displayport, then just match them to your monitor that you want

Nope. My current display has an HDMI port, and so does the card. They don't work together no matter what I do. The same desktop works fine with said display if I put another card in.

The 7950 has two displayports, one hdmi, and two DVI. I matched them to the display just fine but it didn't work. If I connect the same computer to the same display but with a different card, it works fine. If I connect the same computer with the same card to a different display, again it works fine. But the card just doesn't work with the display even with compatible IO. It might just be because its old, and the card is new, but I wanted to be sure that I'm going to be able to interface with this new monitor if I buy it.

I've got this one and it's alright, plastic is a little cheap, but it's bright and the colours are pretty decent, or there's the 23 inch version for $10 less, or 21.5 inch for $20 less than that ($90)

Only has VGA and DVI inputs, though you can easily get adapters if needed to go from dvi to hdmi or vice versa.
