Hello 

 

People who have a watt meter like the KILL-A-WATT. How much power does your PC use.

 

My Gaming PC uses about 120w idle and 400 load.

I also use a mac mini which only uses 13w idle and about 40 load.

500-ish at full load... not sure when idle... I'm guessing around 200...

Estimates from kWH meter issued by the utilities company...

180w idle and 780w load

I checked it once and can't quite remember the specifics but I wanna say less than 100W Idle and about 400ish under full load (Fire Strike combined test). I could be under estimating it a bit. I also had the monitor on the meter at the same time. It's an old one that can, when showing all white, use almost as much power as my tower at idle.

Killawatt said it was just a little over 800 watts underload can't remember idle.

80W at idle during the night, screen off

170W screen on idle

about 300-400W when gaming depending on the CPU load

 

this is including my main screen, the 55" tv, not including the secondary 23" screen or sound system
