Hey guys, I'm unfamiliar with DDR2 so I am wondering where to find a non-ecc 8GB, 800Mhz kit

I found this, but it says that it is only AMD certified, does this matter or is it even a real thing? am using an IPIBL-LA motherboard

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-8GB-4x2GB-PC2-5300-DDR2-667MHz-Non-Ecc-240pin-DIMM-AMD-CPU-Desktop-Memory-/371377030209?hash=item5677cbc441:g:rjkAAOSwMmBVnNMh

If anyone knows where for find a kit, please let me know.

My procrastination is the bane of my existence.

I make games and stuff in my spare time.

I'd say it won't work with an intel cpu/mobo.

I did say I was unfamiliar with DDR2 RAM, I wasn't sure this was an actual thing or not.

why is it that ddr2 is more expensive then ddr3 ? im looking for an 8gb kit for my older pentium and cant find anything for under 100$ when i can get a decent ddr3 8gb kit for 50$

DDR2 is the last generation, and isn't mass-produced for consumers anymore.

Maybe if it wasn't almost a decade old technology, sure. But it's been obsolete for so long no one really has any kicking around anymore.
