PG27AQ - need your help asap : )

Hey

i want to buy this monitor and i can pre order it now

i have no idea how this monitor will be and i dont want to buy something i have never dealt with (had pg278q b4)

you can see my rig in the signature /profile

main games that i play are TheWitcher 3/ Black Ops 3 / Killing Floor 2 and such...

i heard windows 10 got issues running 4K at 27' or s omething like that

and also heard that many games not optimized for this resolution so i must make sure b4 i approve this how good this model and if its worth it

if you dont think its worth . my only "other option" is the PG279Q

thanks in advance .

Do not get the 4k monitor, you will not be able to play on it with decent frame rates. Go with the 1440p 144hz Ips panel instead for better results :)

And? I still would prefer smoother rates with better picture and color quality than 4k :o 2k is still an amazing. 4k is not recommended unless you have SLI or Crossfire of the highest end GPU :o

With a single card id lean more towards a 1440p monitor. With a single card at 4k your looking at 30fps to less in most games. I have 2 980ti's and I might just past 60fps.

i dont think one would pay top dollar for pc components only to play at Decent rates, you want high end rates to the best possible experince, and 4k hardware just is not there yet. And why go down to 1440p if you can just save money and buy a native 1440p monitor that can be smoother @ 100-144 hz and ips :P doesn't make much sense lo

how do you spell lol wrong ?

he will get decent frame rates...

and why go down to 1440 ? so he can use 4k in the native os obviously. makes perfect sense *lol*

hey guys thanks for the respone

i guess the pg279q is the best option

the 4k scares me because i never dealt with that high res before.

i know gsync suppose to make gaming better but still it wont help much if i get 30-40fps

seems like pg279q is the best option

too bad it has dust issues/massive BLB issues and more...
