USB BIOS Flashback-Z87-WS

In this video Wendell says that you have to Plug the flash Drive into the White USB port. There is no White USB port on my board.

wendell might have a older or newer version of the board

 

why are you using flashback anyway?...did you corrupt your bios?

it will be most likely the usb 2 port next to the flashback button on the bottom

I am using a Devils Canyon chip on Z87.

Not every board has a white USB board.

He used a X79 Rampage IV Gene, which is a completly different board than your Z87 WS.

If you need help with your motherboard you should contact your motherboard's manufacturer.

you know that there is an instruction manual that comes with your motherboard right.....

it tells you which of the USB ports to use for BIOS flashback

 

I bought mine from Ebay, so no manual. The online one doesn't seem to have which USB port.

thats software to flash the bios from within the OS

but you cant do that because you cant get into the OS until you have flashed the BIOS

so its irrelevant to you
