Corsair fans are fairly good.

But if u really want top notch fans, get Noctua ones. NFF12 for radiators and heatsinks, NFS12 for cases.

I'd also recommend shoping at places like

Scan

Aria

Dabs

Novatech

OverclockersUK

if ur in the UK when searching for PC components. Places like Maplin and PCworld tend to be pricey, and have limited choices.

Is this a good pc fan? http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/corsair-af120-quiet-edition-120mm-fan-n82qq

Sorry if in wrong section, new to the forums :)

Corsair AF fans are not bad and they definitly look great, but they are pretty loud compared to other fans and the amount of pressure they can "produce" isn't that great either. The airflow is pretty good tho.

If you want to use this as a case intake or outtake, where there isn't much structure blocking the airflow it's fine to use this fan.

If you want something of much higher quality, which is much quieter and cools your components a lot better, get something else, like a be Quiet Silent Wings 2 or Noctua NF-F12

Is this just for a case fan for air flow or for a rad? Those Corsair fans are "ok". They are 3 pin and their motors can be a little noisy (buzzy) I found.

Assuming you need a case fan for air flow, these are better: http://www.deepcool.com/product/gamerstorm/2014-09/6_996.shtml (Deepcool GF120)

Very high quality, PWM (4 pin) control, they flow lots of air and are very quiet. I'm running two of them in my system and they work better than the 140mm Fractal Design fans I had before. They're also very inexpensive, considering they perform like Noctuas. ;)
