I'm replacing my GT 720 with a new GPU and was wondering how to remove it? I tried pushing down on the lever-thing but I don't want to apply too much force and break the slot/720. More info here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/495451-gtx-970-bottleneck/#entry6628838

You first remove the screw on the back side of the case, where the GPU is held. Than you release the latch that is on the other side of the GPU, after that you should be able to just get it out of the motherboard (I see no wires going to the PSU or whatever)

is that one of the pull up levers?

also, it doesn't matter if you break it because it's not an essential part.

Yes it is a pull up tab :)

Also depending on the GPU he could run the risk of the gpu sliding out if moved or bumped causing a short (had this happen at work and was not a pretty sight o_O)
