What is needed for 4k?

Just curious but what would be needed to play triple A titles in 4k? 

At what fps? 30fps a 980ti, 60fps 2 980tis (maybe 2 390xs or furys idk)

At least a 980ti

 

980ti SLI or cf fiji for 2014/2015 titles.

 

For older AAA titles, 980 sli or CF hawaii

 

For moba's/fps/mmo's a single 970 should suffice.

CPU?

4690k overclocked ideally, or 3770k  (and newer)

 

While an 8350 can suffice in certain cases, I would highly recommend against it.

1) 4k monitor or tv

 

2) displayport or HDMI 2.0 on the display and GPU

 

3) enough GPU horsepower to drive 4k, such as two 980tis

An i5 or better, for all titles better make it an overclocked i5 just to account for buggy releases
