What would be the difference would it make if there were 2 Identical CPUs and they have only a .5 GHz clock difference? Would it be a big difference?

How identical? Is everything the same besides clock speed?

Yes, everything is the same

It won't make a huge difference at all.

More than likely around 1-5% in combined and physics portion of benchmarks. That is about what I have seen going from 4.3 to 4.5.

Intel or AMD?

And difference in what? Gaming, web browsing, MSFT Paint, video encoding?

You need to state a use case, as .5GHz is meaningless in most things people do with computers.
