Posted November 27, 2015 I am looking to buy new monitor and i would appreciate any advice. My main contenders are Dell UltraSharp U2412M http://geizhals.at/dell-ultrasharp-u2412m-schwarz-860-10161-860-10150-a665211.html?hloc=at Dell UltraSharp U2515H http://geizhals.at/dell-ultrasharp-u2515h-210-adzg-a1212071.html As they fit both in 300 +-10,15 Euros budget. Main thing for monitor to have is IPS panel, to have as good as possible color accuracy. Gaming is not priority but just in case, let's check that box too. Monitor will be mainly use for light photo and video editing, media consumption and daily office use. Once again i would appreciate any input from forum members on this matter. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Best to all.

The U2412M is an older model, I don't see why you wouldn't get the U2515H over it Forum Rules | Guide to Display Cables / Adapters
 Posted November 28, 2015 I wouldn't put 2560 pixels across less than a 27inch screen. Non scaling text becomes difficult to read. This is the sheet I reference for current monitors. I'm looking at the Dell U2415 (non H)
Posted November 28, 2015 I have the 2515h. I love it. I don't think it's hard to read at all. For me the wow effect was when using windows and browsing as well as working that two windows side by side work really well although the screen is not much bigger than my old 24" screen. It feels much bigger, you just have more pixel space. Gaming is also great on thus monitor, if 60fps is enough for you. Posted November 29, 2015 You can always CTRL-SCROLL WHEEL in a browser to adjust zoom but some games don't scale text (sometimes at all).
