Titan x build for a my bro

This is my specs so far money is not a problem:

Geforce titan x

i5 - 4590

2x8gb ram (to much color)

Sandisk extreme pro 480GB

2TB WD hdd

Psu: ?

Case: ?

Ligtning:?

Fans:?

Mobo:?

Cpu cooler:?

So I'm not going to oc and think a green color scheme will work because the gpu's name is in green.

All the help will be appreciated for my gaming pc build!

If I get a 4k screen wil oc be necessary?

try a 6700k for CPU and a 950 Pro for a SSD...

You will need dual Titan X cards for a reasonable 4k experience, and you really may as well just go for 980 Tis which are faster anyway because of better cooling.

Also if money truely is no issue, go for the 512 GB 950 PRO for primary storage and a 2 TB 850 PRO for secondary, although at this point you probably will tell me "oh, but I didn't want to spend that much" to which I will reply "fine" but please indicate that in your OP.  Or maybe a pair of Intel 750 1.2 TB drives since they're faster anyway.

Also you will need an i7 if you are looking in to 4k.

The 980 Ti is NOT faster than a Titan X if they both had a reference cooler. The Titan X would edge it out by a bit. You might say there are aftermarket coolers for the 980 Ti, but the same is said with the Titan, you just have to install them yourself.

Also, OP please don't pair a 4590 with a Titan X. It's just plain unbalanced. Get at least a 4690K or a 4790K (or even 6600K and 6700K if you can get them).

This. Also what is your budget? If its truly "doesnt matter" Get two titan x's, watercooled custom loop, 5960x, two 1.2tb 750 series SSD's ect...

Well the point was that out of the box overclocks with a 980 Ti (aftermarket obviously) is going to be more successful than doing the same thing with a Titan X which must be reference unless you want to mod.  And someone who can't even think up a budget probably can't be bothered to mod.

Ah I see your point. Although you can also get the Arctic Storm Titan X so you don't have to mod it yourself (although that model is rare now, but if you can pay the price go ahead xD)

Hehe you are right :) asked him again so the budget is 3000 us dollars can be more and he wants to go 4k.

980Ti sli I think is better, I just always hear its better to have a single gpu - fewer issues ..but the i7 is not necessary for 4k gaming games are much more focused on the gpu.

If your spending the money no a 980ti get a 5930k because of the PCIe lanes. If you ever need to add another card for SLI it will be much better having that 5930k

True but I actually have them and they dont run that hot. PLUS they are at a higher clock sooo they run hotter.

Thanks a lot all that i am changing is the cpu he doesn't want to oc and the ram to ddr3 .. Ddr3 is better then 4 now has higher mhz compared to the cl timmings if you know what I mean!

Dont know if he needs a i7 or not?
