Display port on 780ti not working

Cvdasfg

My display port on my 780ti just stopped working one day for no reason. Any suggestions? Tried different display port cords and still nothing.

EDIT: I have three total monitors. One runs of display port, hdmi, and D-DVI. The dvi and HDMI monitors still work fine. But when I try to hook up my main monitor  with display port nothing happens.

Are the fans spinning?

Have you tried other GPU outputs?

If a GPU is tightened too much on the PCI Bracket and the video cable is jammed in too hard it can cause it to stop working. Don't over tighten anything on a graphics card, it can cause issues like this, especially in cheap cases.

Fix:

loosen it a little

But first, let's talk about parallel universes.

Is it a black screen or is it "Input not supported"?

If it's either, the port is dead or is having connection issues. Loosen your other video cables if they're DVI/VGA and it might fix it. Overtightening anywhere on a graphics card can fuck with it.

If the cables have been in use for years, then it is likely they're dying. The graphics card would likely die outright, not just one port at a time, or the monitors are dying.

Since it's just black... I will say its cables, since I've had that issue when loading L4D2 (buggy ass game) and replugging my DVI cable fixed it.

I assume you have some kind of iGPU CPU, RMA your GPU if it still has a warranty and suffer with integrated graphics for a week, or buy a new card.

edit: nevermind, saw 5820k on profile

hopefully you have another card laying around, otherwise = rekt

How long do warranties last? Doubt it sense its an old card.
