Posted November 25, 2015 I have a LG G3 and once in a while it randomly restarts for no reason. At first i thought it was probably installing a software update or something but it never does (it is on latest OS version for LG G3 5.0.1). It never does it when i'm using the phone it only does it when it's been idle for a while and I can't think of why it would randomly restart unless it crashed or something. Posted November 25, 2015 Install any new apps recently? There could be an app you got recently that's just funky with your phone and it's software. Uninstall and recent apps and see if that helps. also is this happening when the battery is below 20%? My Note 4 used to do with on 5.0.1 a lot. No it just did it a few minutes ago and the battery was at 43% and I don't have any apps installed that I don't trust or have used in the past without any problems. Posted November 25, 2015 Author I have the same problem on Galaxy S5 Maybe it's a bug in Android then. The only thing i can think of is if the system crashes maybe the phone restarts on its own or something. I did that and not only does my phone not restart anymore, but it's faster than the day I got it.
