Posted November 25, 2015 So i got a g3258 because i heard it overclockes like a beast and i got mine today and when i tried to oc it i only got to 4.2Ghz at 1.360v any less voltage the clock is unstable. If i go higher than 4.2Ghz i cant get the pc to load the pc just turns on and does nothing. So is this a bad chip or am i doing something wrong. I had situations where overvolting would make the system unstable. Ram speed could help with oc stability but it's only if you're running 1333 or below.
