Could 2 different GTX970s work together in sli

So I have a GTX 970 OC from MSI, and I were thinking of getting another 970 for sli, but now that black friday is comming up, I saw a great sale that was announced one a webshop for a Asus GTX 970 TURBO OC, would that card work in sli with my card  ?

Yep.

 

The card with the higher clock speed will only run at the speed of the lower card, but they'll still xFire.

 

EDIT: I mean SLI.

As long as they have the same amount of ram you are fine.

 There should be one word for this everyone is always bi-accidentally mixing it up here and there and everyone usually attacks them for it not like there that different either lol
