I've been trying to upgrade to windows 10 but every time I try it pops up with and error code the code is error code: 80070050. I've tried every solution on the internet and none of them seem to work except for making a new account and renaming the temp file temp2 but everytime i try to log into the new account it says "user profile service failed".

Why don't you just do a fresh install of Windows 10 instead of trying to use the upgrader?

Sig under construction.

unplug EVERYTHING but the power, mouse, keyboard and 1 monitor (if you have multiple) the moment i did that my win10 stopped failing

forget exactly what the guy the the youstubes video said about the failing and drivers. Though i think it had to do with the point the update failed (32% for me) the installer was trying to find windows drivers for everything that was plugged in and if it did not find anything it would fail.

@OvAeons was saying is that people sometimes have problems upgrading when other things are connected to the PC. Unplug everything that isn't needed. Then try upgrading again.

If you are going to fresh install, to back up stuff simply use another storage device (usb flash drive stick, external HDD, cloud storage, ect.) and put all of your important and wanted files on that drive. Example word documents, game saves (ones that aren't from steam or Origin), music files, photos, videos ECT...

Fresh install and then put the files back on.
