  1. corsair strafe/ G502 prote core and a razr mouse pad have done me well for a bit now. I lust for those head phones. Why doesn't LTT do a review on them?
  2. what i would do is snag the noctua at the back of the case and put it on the bottom and put what is on the bottom at the back. no need to get a new fan, unless current is noisy/nearing end of life.
  3. I don't HAVE a gpu in my compy atm :>
  4. i have never gotten something from McD's ever.
  5. they are talking about GPUs >.> But yeah onto OP: check all the popular sites, check local, call around and ask what their shipments have been like and the quickness of sales on them as for sites if they have email notification (newegg does for sure) use that for checking when stock comes in.
  6. there is a hidden drive cage in the PSU shroud that holds 2 HDDs so you can get away with that unless you have up to 6 HDDs to pop in i have an SSD and 1 HDD plus an extra SSD sled is great for when ever.
  7. if you are spending that much you might as well get g sync. i have a pg278q, the TN version and love it (that annoying ass red LED can be turned off). Future gpus will only make 1440p better too. Plus there is no clear answer if nvidia will evolve past gsync... and i was in the same boat with vsync and i was using it and playing next to a friend on Diablo 2 median XL, all i can say is ALL drops showed for them long before they did for me
  8. i have a Phanteks eclipse p400 in gun metal and love it. Plenty of room to put in what i want, built in basic lighting and 3 colours to choose from http://www.phanteks.com/Eclipse-p400.html
  9. both are good cards, brother has 970 Strix's and has had a great experience with them. i just ordered an evga one cause Strix/G1 were not coming in stock and i was getting impatient my original first choice was Strix over EVGA over Gigabyte. Who ever got stock first in the stores i was watching
  10. unless you do a lot of typing along side gaming, Red switch would be best choice. Have had a few friends get Brown for a mix of typing and gaming and have said the 'tactile bump' in the brown screws with fast paced 'WASD-ing' and have found it taxing. RED: nice activation - no click BROWN: similar to red - a slight bump in compression BLUE: similar activation again - with an internal spring loaded slide for the confirming "clack" sound i have Red silent and even on typing it is perfectly fine. noise level is also slightly less other option is the newish: MX Speed Basically a shorter travel Red switch 1.2mm versus 2mm tech reviewers have nothing but great things to say when it comes to gaming with it
  11. easily the most functionally attractive projector i have ever seen. Before now i had zero interest in projectors, could have some good fun with this projector :>
  12. I have had a wonderful time with my 502 also seems like pretty much every free scroll mouse other then logitech have been discontinued for a while because they were breaking.
  13. Would love to win a keyboard to give to my friend who has a membrane keyboard that is missing its DAMN LEFT SHIFT KEY FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS AND IT IS BOTHERING ME SO HARD!
  14. Depends on the horsepower you have to run monitors. IMO single 4k panel is not worth is atm, even if it has 144hz the monitor itself will be well over 1000$ and nothing will give you over 60fps unless you have spent tonnes on a system. I would be happy with a 1440p monitor
  15. Just cope with lower settings to keep a good FPS and either save for 980Ti or wait till next series Gpu's (which, hopefully, should completely annihilate this series' performance) other option is to keep 970 for physX card hell i play things at low settings and resolution...
