Is the Cooler Master V750/vs750/VSM750(whatever the h*ll) good? as in it won't blow up in my face when overclocking a gigabyte gtx960 g1 4gigs OR a sapphire r9 380

cooler master:(http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/modular/v750s/)

Gtx 960:(http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5372#ov)

r9 380:(http://ucc-bd.com/sapphire-nitro-r9-380-4g-gddr5-pci-e-dl-dvi-i-dl-dvi-d-hdmi-dp-dual-x-oc-version.html)

also gonna run an i5-4590(asus h97 pro mobo)...gskill 8gigsx2(ddr3) in dual channel and a western digital 1 TB 7200 rpm(front 1 and top 2 intake fans with 1 only rear exhaust)

I ran the extreme psu calculator and it's suggesting me a 430 watt EVGA psu but for the life of me I can't find a single evga psu in my country and I don't have a credit card to ship stuff here!

Would really like to know if the V750 will do the job stable!

Those cards don't produce a lot of heat. 550W is more than enough for those cards.

so will the V550 one do nicely for overclocking? and it won't cause any problems? Johnny guru reccommends the V750 but can't find a 550 one!

How much are you willing to spend on a PSU? remember, Important part of the PC is the PSU. Also Which location are you buying from?

The V750 should be fine. Check out the PSU whitelist in my signature below for many other options as well.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Hey bro the CoolerMaster V750SM is in fact Enhanced Electronics OEM unit

so you are good on the PSU in terms of power delivery and performance

the V series are Seasonic OEM units

read here

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CoolerMaster/VSM750/1.html

what makes the PSU great is the near silent operation at ilde

just FYI

Yep, the VSM and V series are great, Seasonic and Enhance units each. Both highly recommended.
