It's a good card, yes.

 

Sapphire is probably the best AMD card manufacturer, MSI comes second and third probably XFX.

I would never suggest Asus' cards nor Gigabyte's.

why asus makes fine cards

Asus' cooler isn't really made for AMD cards, I'm pretty sure it doesn't cool the VRMs properly.

not only that - it coil whines, uses cheap chinese VRMs, doesn't even seat the cooler properly half the time (heatpipes not making contact) and having awful support

ahh i didnt know all of this (not an amd guy) although i have had a few of their nvidia cards and they are just fine ( i did know about the bad support)

ya i know about the support it seem to be mostly monitors and gpus their motherboards are some of the best i have used

Any more opinions on the XFX card? lol

Ive had an xfx r9 290 for a while never had an issue never had a complaint about support their cooler is nice and quiet id go for it honestly
