PC build for myself

Clanscorpia

After many forum posts and lots of research, I came up with these lists for a $1000 and $1500 PC, whichever one I can afford by next fall, so here they are! They need to last 4-5 years becuase in college if I want to go where I want to and take the courses I want it will literally be the laughing stock of the class :P. The lists are also made up or very reliable parts from reliable manufacturer's as not all of us have bins of GPU's (Stares at Linus' closet).

CPU is eh, the only i5's I consider at this point are the 4460 and 4690k. Also, cooler on both? Don't spend 1000+ on a PC and use stock cooler.

Go for a 4460 and spend a little bit more on a cooler, maybe a Hyper 212 Evo or something similar.

I don't really want to overclock (Warranty really) And I chose the 4590 because it's 15 dollars more than the 4460. CPU prices in Canada are just crazy AF.

First of all mate, on what resolution would you like to game at? Also defenately get the first build as you don't really need the second one! Also get the i5 4460, it's better in terms of price to performance than the 4590! Good luck :)
