So, whenever I try opening an app like Google Play, or YouTube I have an issue loading it in but it's still slow on 4g I only have this issue in my room, however I can still stream my desktop using Splashtop over the wifi network, (my computer is in the room next to mine) I also have the issue with almost any other app except for splashtop like instagram won't refresh the feed well I can use my pc using Splashtop. Does anyone have any ideas? When I turn wifi on try loading the vid well the vid is playing I turn my wifi back on and it works, USUALLY, I really don't understand why I have this issue, AT&T is my ISP I'm sapost to be getting 12mbp/s and tjhat shouldn't be the issue because I can play it from my desktop do I need a range extender? any help is much appreciated,

Thanks,

-Alex

Restart. Check latest updates. Possibly root phone and add a custom ROM?

I have a similar problem with my Nexus 4, its much faster to use data cell network than my wifi and my Nexus 7 works fine, its just my internet as I have tried it on different members of my family's internet and it works fine.

Edit: Rooting + Custom Rom didn't fix the issue, went back to stock for the 4.3 update.

1. go to settings - about          and check if there is a new update

if not

2. go to XDA developers and get help there

they will probably tell u to update the radio

or even better flash CM10.2 much faster than stock rom

If it happened recently after an update then the update could of had a hiccup. Another problem could be something server side on AT&Ts part, the other day a friend of mine who uses charter, had his internet go from 20 Mbps down to barely 1, and it was charter's fault not his they were doing something server side. Though this seems something more of a local problem, are most of your programs up to date? Also this is unlikely but you also could of somehow picked up a virus, it wouldn't hurt downloading some free anti virus and doing a scan. Sorry I couldn't be much more help, I use Verison and Comcast and don't have any of these problems on my S3.

Phone wherever you got it from and pretend you're a technophobe. Make them go through all of the troubleshooting and diagnosis steps to find the answer. Make sure you are polite and cautious. There is nothing worse than a dick on the end of a phone, as I found out from work experience in a call centre.

Compatible with Windows 95
