We don't know what the future will bring but if your willing to play on high-med at 45fps then it should last.

I don't recommend the "50 series" GTX cards. They can be good entry level gaming cards and everyone's budget is different. However, every generation has it's good price to performance sweet spot and the "50" usually isn't it. For the GTX 7xx series, I can very much vouch for the 760. It's a great card and will run modern games at high settings at 1080p, the 750 Ti not so much. The 960 however isn't great for it's generation, the 970 is much better, but a little too expensive.

GTX 670 can be bought for under $140 now on ebay or 2nd hand now GTX 760 has 1 shader block disabled over the GTX 670.

The 670 is a good card too. I don't have experience with this card so I can't vouch for it personally. One thing you have to consider is older cards may not have some of the same software technologies available to them, but if the OP finds a good deal on a 670, go for it.

Will this card hold up for another 2 years? I wouldnt mind playing at medium- High settings 1080P 45 FPS or more.

I really only could recommend this card to you by having one myself if you're only going to be playing games like Counter Strike or Team Fotress
