Fallout 4 glitch, please help!

Now that I look at it, the setting seems to go back to the way it was each time I reset. 

 

Is there a way to stop that from doing so?

Yeah, you could set the Fallout4prefs.ini to read only, so it can't be changed anymore by the system.

You should be able to find the Fallout4prefs.ini in Documents\myGames\Fallout4\

So first change the settings, then set it to read only. You should also be able to find the wetness setting somewhere in the Fallout4prefs.ini

If you can find it, set it to 0.

Hey guys,

 

I just opened fallout 4 about and hour ago and this happened..

Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

ALSO when I logged back on there seems to be a 20-40FPS drop and microstuttering which is SO annoying. This was not happening when I played two days ago..

That's a known bug.

It has something to do with the rain effect. You've to turn the effect off in the options and then you're fine.

Edit: You have to disable wetness. That was the word I was looking for :P

 

I just changed the setting, it worked for a few seconds. 

 

Once the lightning came it happened again, is there a way to fix that?

And people are mad at BO3 because they had to do this yet Fallout has issues as well that no fanboy wants to admit

Exactly. Fallout 4 has huge issues and is the worst PC port this year. Still no one cares, cause it's Fallout...

It's also the worst Fallout title I think. Not that it's bad, but FA3 and NewVegas were a lot better.
