Dayum.

Looks SO nice.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

It's RGB, so it's not a problem.

I added a NOS sticker and leds to my car and it added an extra 50 horsepower, resale value increased by $10k

I wonder if the PC market is going to have to go through what the car modding community had to endure in the late 90's early 2000's

Forty bucks labor, twenty bucks for the high quality cherry picked LEDs, ten bucks for the premium solder, fifteen bucks for the Mylar you'll have to wrap the mod circuit in to keep EMI out of the audio channels,  maybe twenty five for the high-end, non-replaceable battery PER side.

They mention that you can change colors on them before they talk about audio quality, and when they mention audio quality they talk about "specifically designed for gamers".

I am going to make a prediction and say that they will be quite bad as far as audio quality goes, the mic will be mid range and they will be very expensive.

Anyone feels like betting against me? I bet 1 Internet.

But they use next-generation SteelSeries drivers engineered with the learnings from over 10 years of delivering premium audio.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt here on the audio quality side.

What they say "designed for gamers" (I'm speaking about the drivers) is a very very vague term. Don't forget that there is more to headphone audio than just the driver. The pads for instance looks like it will seal very well against your head, making the overall SQ much better.

If they are charging around 200 USD (Don't forget street price is normally cheaper) they SHOULD have some wiggle room to insert some decent drivers and engineer some good cups. They also look to be a semi-open headphone which should give a decent mixture of sound quality and bass response.

Again and again the best solution is to have a dedicated headphone and microphone!
