Atleast give us something to work with.

OK, this I can work with.

No, I don't think a high divorce rate will affect society in a megative way.

There has been shown no correlation between high divorce rates and any negative effects on society as a whole.

Even for the children, divorce is often times the most beneficial outcome.

A child that grows up in a household where the parents are fighting, be verbally or physically, it is better for the child to grow up with only one parent and potential step-parents.

Of course, if the divorce turns sour then it can affect the children in a negative way.

And on a personal level, I would much rather see people be happy rather than stuck in an unhappy relationship.

Why would I stay in a commitment that is hurting me?

Just becuase you chose to marry a person at some point, it doesn't mean that you owe them to stay with them.

We just have to realize that the so called ´nuclear family´ is a dying concept, and that this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Especially the Western world as moved past moralistic societal structures, such as thinking marriage is sacred.

People therefor don't see any reason to commit to something that makes them unhappy.

I would, personally, much rather see a society of happy individuals than a society of unhappy families.
