I'm looking for a geadset that sounds great and is comfortable. in playing games like Counter strike I need to be able to pinpoint where people are through hearing if I cant see them, so I need an accurate headset for competitive games. (Does not need a microphone, but if it has one that is a bonus!!!) Thankyou for any constructive responses :D

SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset. It's most comfortable headset I have ever owned, the head mounting and auto adjustment are excellent. Sound quality is also good. It have Mic also which seems to be excellent, no complaints about echos, breathing or background noise.

Budget?

Others might call them garbage but SkullCandy's PLYR1 Headset is very comfortable, has a mic, and I find the sound quite good. Note that I am not an audiophile or anything; I'm not too picky about sound.

EDIT: People complain about build quality, but I think they are really sturdy.

Dude it's been 10 minutes....

This, this shit pops up on LTT a LOT, and quite frankly it's moronic, just like the idiots that make back to back posts "follow your thread". Either be useful and make a quality post, or STFU. Give someone time to respond, stop being a prick and go get a job or go to school.

As for quick suggestions, if under $100, check out the HyperX Cloud Core.

Dude, ignore those idiots. It happens a LOT on these forums, those kids are all tards.

If your budget is more in the $200 range, I'd say look at the Sennheiser G4ME One, which is my typical high-end headset recommendation that generally sits at around $170.

Congrats on the child btw :)

I think the Sibera V2's are great for the money if pick them up on sale, which happens a lot. I think I paid $35 and $40 for my two pairs.

If you want to spend around $100, I would suggest getting Sennheiser 558's, then you can add a modmic later if you ever decide you want a mic.

Personally, the 558's are the most comfortable headset I've ever worn.
