$100 - $150 CAD subwoofer

I have had the simple audio listens for a while now, because of their low price at the time of purchase (a little over $100), however the bass was a little lacking compared to my old 2.1 setup.

What would be a good subwoofer in the $100 - $150 CAD range to make my current speakers into a 2.1 setup. A bass knob would also be preferred, as I'm in a dorm right now and I would like not to cause an earthquake xD (My room isn't directly connected to other people's rooms, so I wont piss anyone off unless I turn up the volume to pretty intolerable levels).

My old setup was a cheap ($30) 2.1 setup from Philips, and the sub was 4", so it dosent have to be much bigger than that, because I was pretty satisfied with the bass performance of that little sub.

Something 10 inch

I was thinking of the Yamaha YST-SW012 because one of my frieds has it back in Norway, and it was a pretty reasonable price when he got it (A little over $100). Its an 8" sub with a 100W rms. Seems like a bit overkill, but its got a bass knob so I can turn it down.

Only problem is prices here, because on amazon.ca its $400 for some reason...

That explains it... Ill try to find if there is a similarly price successor to it...

I'm seeing quite a few of them on ebay for sub $100 CAD,  but shipping a sub wont be cheap.

looking promising. A little pricey, but seems reasonable for a 10" sub
