Pretty nice, but people prefer razer method

No, most do the hammer-vise method these days. Using a razor/exacto is plum stupid. When you have the FIVR to get around.

Me and EVGA forum member Nateman tried this:

 

 

I didn't see good enough temperature improvement to justify throwing a 5960X at it.  It's still on his todo list to try machining all the way down to the silicon and hoping we don't destroy it.
