Hopefully amd will do the same within a week or two....

They will - just like the released a driver for Witcher 3 after a week (also an Nvidia game), they will do the same now. In the meantime - apparently 3000MHz RAM gives you 45% more fps than 1600MHz RAM on the same system. Odd stuff. #BethesdaBreaksEverything

Gameworks features increase drawcalls, drawcalls the amd drivers already can't process. They also use tessellation, which AMD sucks at.

Not sure how much can be blamed on nvidia, much less to determine whether it's nefarious in nature.

Pretty sick of the polarizing "gimpworks" horseshit though, AMD gets to play the victimhood-card way too damn often.

Wait until black friday or cyber monday and pick up a Z97+4690k combo for very cheap

or 6600k+Z170 combo if that's not too much more

tbh though most of your performance issues probably come from the AMD drivers, they usually take weeks to release any optimizations for a game, but you should still upgrade that CPU anyway, the driver optimizations will come eventually

its just that AMD is really slow at that

in the mean time, try this to improve your performance:
