While testing a 295x2 I was hitting the mid 900w range. I haven't had a chance to try out the 390x2 yet, I was making assumptions. I'm not sure what the op is running besides the 3570k. I apologize.

my 295x2 with a 7% OC to the core and 250MHz OC to the RAM, in addition to my 4790k OCd to 4.3GHz doesnt manage to break 800w system draw..

Now, i DO have almost all my storage on SSDs, which means i do not have alot of mechanical harddrives running. On the other side, i have a AIO cooler... and 8 fans running...

but even with all that at max, i STILL do not break 800W

Odd - @Prysin doesn't go over 800W with his 295x2 system

I guess I should add this wasn't in the build in my signature. This was in my rig I use for video editing. 5830k/64gb 2800mhz memory(8x8gb dimms) 2 500gb ssds and 4 3.5in. 1tb Nas drives and a sound card ( the zxr? I think that's it) I can't think of the make of the 295x2 either, it was a borrowed card to try out. I realize this isn't the average gaming rig and is probably pulling a bit more than normal.
