Not everything, only consoles and AMD graphics cards. The 970 runs Fallout 4 faster than a Fury. I'd call that pretty damn good.

already 20 hours in i been watching the GPU usage some big towns will make GPU usage drop from 80% to 50% and go up and down for no reason which makes FPS drop massive for no reason its game issue for sure.

Huh, that sucks. I know the 970 doesn't have and issue and I've heard the 960 runs smooth as well.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

looks like even 980ti has frame rate drops from the comments on reddit.

That's because SLI isn't supported yet, or crossfire. That was a dick move by everyone involved not having day one support.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Is getting a gtx 970 over the r9 390 worth it just to play Fallout 4?

If you REALLY want FO4 today rather than in a day or two then the 970. If you can wait a day or two, the get the 390 - it's faster in 98% of games on the market

My 970 runs Fallout 4 like a dream on Ultra. No frame rate drops even after several hours.

I seriously wonder if half the "this game is shit rabble rabble rabble" comments around the net are more due to user error and system upkeep.

Hell my brothers Phenom II paired with a 970 runs the game almost flawlessly.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

Wow, O.o. Really late to the party mate. The problem is with AMD only, the 970 beats a Fury in fps playing Fallout 4 lol.

By the time AMD gets a driver out everybody would've already beaten the game lol.

If we're lucky we'll see a driver that makes the game playable, since I'm still waiting for the driver that makes Witcher crossfire properly I find myself struggling to be hopeful.

I know lol. I saw that but I also have seen lots of complaints on the nvidia side of things which is what makes me wonder.

I've yet to test the game on the wife's AMD setup but I'll give it a go this weekend.
