EVGA GS/G2 is probably the best value right now. Also the B2 series for a bit cheaper.

Antec High Current Gamer series are ones to look at for a bit cheaper.

Anything from Seasonic, XFX(Seasonic OEM), SuperFlower or Delta is good.

They're not going to kill anything. Yes, they're not good for gaming and overclocking, but they're not time bombs either.

The CX bashing on the forum is getting out of hand and leading many to believe the CX series is just as bad as $10 no-name units.

I do agree; however. People, should not recommend it if people can afford better.

From past experiences of local PC enthusiasts here, I can even say that the VS series from Corsair is better than the CX series.

In some ways it is better. It doesn't have the same temperature tolerance issues as the CX series, but they're still not good quality. The components in general are cheaper and so is the build quality.

It would also depend on what you mean by experience. If it's a matter of "does it run?", then it's not really much to go off without statistics and tests being run.

Ah yes, what I mean by the experience part is through gaming but low to mid end rigs with like A10 APUs to i5s w/ 960/270x. I guess the temperature tolerance is the key because we live in a tropical country.

There nothing wrong with corsair

Except that Corsair doesn't actually make any PSUs, they just have OEMs slap Corsair stickers on their popular units and then mark up the price because people will pay a price premium for a PSU that's no better (or more likely yet, worse) because it says Corsair on the side. The CX600 is also part of the CX series and we all know how that temperature tolerance goes.

Best 600w-650w PSU. Good quality and affordable

Check out the PSU whitelist in my sig and see if anything fits the bill. I'd look into some XFX units or the Antec High Current Gamer as those will likely be the cheapest.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
