You can get custom fancurves with MSI afterburner.

Not all BIOSs come with 0% fan even enabled, so many times MSI AB won't even be able to do that unless you flash a custom BIOS specifically with the feature available.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

^ This.

I had to edit my GPU bios for this to work.

Otherwise, GPU's usually have a SET MINIMUM fan speed.

WIthout the mod, my G1 970 would sit at 34% Minimum I think, could not ever get it lower than that without the Bios mod.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

oh damn i was expecting it to be like asus strix 780 or zotac amp extreme 980ti where it wont spin at all.

so msi afterburner wont be able to do that? im afraid after a couple years down the road my fans will have extra noise or problems, compared to fans that doesnt spin at idle temp.

where can i find the GPU bios to make fans doesnt spin?
