It's not an Aurum PT unit, it's a custom platform.

According to shirk it's a slightly downgraded Aurum PT.

According to shirk it's a slightly downgraded Aurum PT.

 

Component layout looks completely different, and Aurum PT only ever came in capacities of 1000W and 1200W. EVGA GQ is 650/750/850/1000.

 

Also, Jonnyguru doesn't say anything about Aurum PT, and this site lists it as a custom platform.

I wish they get smaller instead of bigger. We really need more small PSUs in the market for those cute ITX/mATX builds.
